Yvonne Wilemon Ausbon
Nettleton – Yvonne Wilemon Ausbon, 85, began her new life in Heaven and was reunited with her husband on July 24, 2023. She was born on April 17, 1938, in Itawamba County, MS to the late Claude Wilemon and Velma Morris Wilemon.
Yvonne grew up in Itawamba County and attended schools in the Fulton School System. Early in life she went to work as a seamstress and she was a loyal employee, serving over 38 years at Red Kap Manufacturing and Blue Bell Pants. A woman who had a great work ethic, she also delivered newspapers for the Daily Journal.
During her lifetime, she was blessed with two children, a daughter and son, as well as a loving husband, Cecil Ausbon, whom she married on April 14, 1990. Yvonne was a sweet, beautiful spirit who was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved her family fiercely and her relationship with the Lord was of utmost importance. Her faith was evident in her relationship with others and her willingness to serve others. Yvonne was a long time member of Freedom Baptist Church in Smithville and she enjoyed listening to gospel and country music. Her favorite saying was “He (God) is my everything.”
In her free time, she completed challenging daily word search puzzles and enjoyed working in her flowers. She often spent precious time on the phone with her first cousin, Becky Weaver, and they met and drank coffer together. Of all her accomplishments in life, including a long career in the clothing industry, she would tell you she was most proud of raising her children and the fine adults that they had become as well as her grandsons.
She will be missed dearly. The memories made through the years will be cherished forever.
