Amory—Wilma Lorene Ginn, 85, stepped into Glory on the night of June 29, 2020. Born in Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Wallace and Resse Lee Harrison.
Lorene was a loving, strong-willed lady. Always joyful, she loved her friends and family dearly. Lorene owned and operated a bait shop at the Tenn-Tom Waterway for several years. She was dedicated to her work at the shop and enjoyed seeing her customers daily. Lorene was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a wonderful friend. She endured the loss of both her beloved husband, Paul Ginn, and her son, Luther Johnny Ginn. Lorene was a strong Southern lady who will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
Lorene is survived by her sisters, Joyce Putman (Jim), Pauline McLane, Mary Nell Eskew, and Ann Fisher (Guy), all of Missouri; a host of nieces and nephews; and very dear friends, Johnny Sloan and Timothy Tartt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ginn; son, Johnny Ginn; brothers, Ed Harrison, Robert Harrison, Mutt Harrison, Joe Harrison; and an infant sister.
Graveside services for Mrs. Ginn will be at 5:00 PM, Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Haughton Memorial Gardens. Bro. Justin Haynes will be officiating.
Visitation for Mrs. Ginn will be from 4:00 – 4:50 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
