Amory – William E. Tallent, Jr., 53, passed away on June 24, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was born June 18, 1969, in Fulton, Mississippi to the late William E. Tallent, Sr., and Lizzie Mae Harris Tallent.
William grew up in Itawamba County and attended Itawamba Agricultural High School. He was a hardworking man and worked in the furniture industry as a frame builder. William married the love of his life, Kimberly Michelle Lockhart Tallent and together they were blessed with 3 sons. William was most proud of his children and his wonderful family.
A giving man, he would do anything for anyone. He was of the Baptist faith and loved his family, especially his granddaughters. In his free time, he enjoyed working on old cars, four wheelers, and just tinkering in his shop. AC/DC was his favorite rock band and ‘Back in Black’ always put William into a great mood. Almost always, he had a Yeti cup with Mountain Dew in it. He was fun to be around, always having the last word. Some of his closest friends were Troy and Tina West, Gary Wooldridge, Butch Phillips, “Red” Thompson, Nick Rogers, Jake Phillips, Mark Hunt, and Adam and Kaitlin McDaniel.
His bigger than life presence is going to be missed so much by all that knew and loved him. The memories made with him are sure to fill their hearts with love.
