Wren— William Wesley Pierce, 74, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. He was born in Aberdeen, MS to Felix Underwood and Sarah Catherine Freeman Pierce on June 9, 1945.
Wesley was a kindhearted, easy-going man who never had a negative word to say about anybody. He spent much of his time playing his guitar, listening to the radio outside, and spending time with his family. Music was his passion but his family was a cornerstone in his life. Wesley will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Wesley is survived by his sisters, Dean Reeves (Harvey), of Wren, Neomi Mathis, Amory, Mary Wells, Wren, Wendy Pierce, Wren; brothers, Robert Pierce (Jan), Wren, Billy Pierce (Gail), Wren; special niece, Amanda Wells; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3PM on Friday, March 13, 2020 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, with Bro. Tommy Lawson speaking. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Aberdeen.
Visitation will be from 2PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
