William Holloway

Winter Park, FL – William Larry Holloway, 72, died on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at the Hospice House in Winter Park. Born on October 22, 1937, in Amory, he was a son of the late William Hasty Holloway & Ruth Lantrip Locke. Larry was a graduate of Amory High School, Class of 1955. Having lived in Florida for several years, he worked as an architect. Larry was of the Baptist faith. Enjoying the outdoors, he was an avid golfer, a flower gardener, and loved watching all types of sports. Larry embraced life to the fullest and as an artist, this was revealed in his paintings, especially his Masters painting. He is survived by a son, Lance (Brenda)Holloway Davis, Amory; grandchildren, Megan D. (Kyle) Tutor and Jarrett Davis, all of Amory; special friend, Jeannette Price, Winter Park, FL; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service for William Larry Holloway will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, August 29 at the funeral home with Dr. Allen Simpson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
