Smithville— Mr. William “Bill” Gwin, 59, passed away on December 17, 2017 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Born on January 23, 1958 in Birmingham, Alabama, he was the son of Jane Camp Hunter (Ed) of Smithville and the late Robert Shirley Gwin.
Bill attended Hatley High School and graduated with the class of 1976. He then attended Itawamba Community College where he studied electronics.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Will and Frances Camp.
In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by a sister, Virginia Kimbrel (Rodney) of Pontotoc, and a niece, Rebecca Berryhill.
Funeral Services for Mr. William Gwin will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory. Bro. Harvey Coplin will be officiating. Burial will follow in Boggan Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Gwin will be on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 12:30 – 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
