Hamilton, Miss.—Virginia Carol Weaver, 69, died on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Golden Triangle Regional Medical Center in Columbus. Born November 3, 1945 in Amory, she was a daughter of Rubel Ray and Francis Margaret West Miller.
A graduate of Hatley School class of 1964, she married Stanley Weaver in 1965. She was a member of the Athens Baptist Church and was a seamstress for Amory Garment before her retirement. She enjoyed squirrel hunting, deer hunting, fishing, quilting and all types of music. She was a compassionate lady who loved her grandchildren with unconditional love. She was also a very strong willed person and will be missed dearly.
Survivors include her daughter, Meachell Elam (Lee) of Hamilton; one son, Glenn Weaver (Pam) of Columbus; two brothers, Roger Miller (Barbara) and Larry Miller (Linda) both of Amory; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Stanley Weaver and a brother, Danny Miller.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Weaver will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 14, 2015 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Steve Blaylock officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Hunter, Brad Elam, Ryan Tucker, Steve Miller, Doug Holloway and Anthony Hunter.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at E. E. Pickle Funeral.
