Greenwood Springs, MS – Virginia “Jenner” K Harris Faulkner, 64, began her new life in Heaven on September 24, 2021. Born on April 25, 1957, in Amory, MS, she was a daughter to Jimmie Hoots Harris and the late Dalton Eugene Harris.
Jenner grew up in Monroe County and attended Hatley Schools. She married the love of her life, Carl Benjamin “Benny’ Faulkner, on June 28, 1975 and they began a wonderful life together. They were blessed by God with three children and many grandchildren. Jenner was a great mother, homemaker, grandmother, and she also help support the family financially by working.
She started her career at Ginny Lynn Fashions and then transferred to Amory Garment where she worked until she retired. A great worker who never slowed down, she provided a caring home filled with love and laughs.
She was proud of her children and grandchildren and what they had become in life.
A woman with a great attitude towards life, she held tight to the precious people in her life. She battled breast cancer and she kept a positive attitude the whole time constantly tending to other’s needs.
In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, the fellowship of her family, especially her grandkids and her furry friend “Shadow”. She always loved to curl up to a good book and escape into different worlds as she read. Country music was her favorite and she also liked to cross stitch beautiful creations to give to others. Her family would tell you she was the sweetest woman who was the heart of their home.
