Virginia Armstrong Fleming

Amory, Miss.—Virginia L. Armstrong Fleming, 59, died on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at her home. Born October 28, 1954 in Amory, she was the daughter of Bill and Patricia Ann Ballard Armstrong.

A graduate of Amory High School, she worked for True Temper Sports before her retirement. A Christian, she attended St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Amory and enjoyed caring for animals.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 11 AM until Noon on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory. Interment will be in the Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Chasta Bagwell Ortstadt (Chris) of Daphne, AL; her mother, Patricia Armstrong; one brother, Jimmy Armstrong (Sherri) of Detroit, AL; and one grandson, Noah Blair Ortstadt.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorials may be made to the Amory Human Society.
