Senatobia - Vernice Nell Weaver Elam, 86, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Senatobia Healthcare & Rehab.
Formerly of Smithville, she was a member of Lifepoint Church in Senatobia.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Sharon Williams (Tim) of Independence, MS, Judy E. Wilbanks (Bill) of Water Valley, MS, and Debra E. Franklin of Southaven, MS; son, Michael H. Elam (Mary) of Southaven, MS; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Elam.
The family request that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Monday, December 7, 2015, at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia, 662-562-4481. Her graveside service will be held at 3 PM, Monday afternoon in Young Memorial Garden in Smithville.
Visitation will be from 5 - 7 PM, Sunday at Pate-Jones Funeral Home, Senatobia.
