Dallas, TX – Venessa Dahlem, 54, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Baylor University Medical Center. Born on February 11, 1961, in New Orleans, LA, she was a daughter of Earl and Dimple Adams Dahlem.
Attending Pearl High School, she was in the Class of 1979. Venessa was an independent long-haul truck driver, contracting and helping various trucking companies. After making her profession of faith and being baptized, she enjoyed attending church every Sunday. Having real joy and happiness whose spirit was contagious, Venessa had a heart of compassion and would do anything to help people. An animal lover, she took pleasure in caring for her pony and horses. Full of fun and the life of the party, Venessa enjoyed traveling and sending birthday cards to family.
Survivors include her parents, Earl & Dimple Dahlem, Pearl; brother, Glyn Dahlem (Jennifer), Raymond; sister, Amanda Dahlem, Pearl; nephews, Joey and Jonathan Dahlem; niece, Maeghan Pittman; and great-nephew, Ian Pittman.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, August 8, 2015, at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory, with Rev. Glyn Wiygul officiating. Burial will be in Haughton Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
