Travis Brock
Amory, Miss.—Travis Odell “Hubcap” Brock, 63, died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at his home. Born December 12, 1949 in Amory, he was a son of Evelyn Majors Brock and the late Earl Brock. He attended Amory schools and was a member of the Cason Baptist Church. Before his retirement, he worked in the garment plant and for Days Security. Guided by his faith in God, much of his time was spent with family and friends. He enjoyed dealing in old cars and buying and selling hubcaps.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Tommy Whaley and Bro. Terry Paul Graham officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Brock of Amory; one sister, Diane Tidwell (Bobby) of Amory; one brother, Curtis Brock of Amory; nephews, Bobby Joe Tidwell, Brad Tidwell (Emily), and Scott Tidwell (Nikki); great nephews, Stacy Patterson, Bailey Doolittle, Isaiah Tidwell, Parker Tidwell, and Holden Patterson; and special friends, Larry and Roberta Thornsberry and Robert and Sharon Odom.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Pallbearers will be Charles Plunkett, Kenny Gilmore, Bobby Joe Tidwell, Brad Tidwell, Scott Tidwell, and Stacy Patterson.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. on Monday evening and will continue until service time on Tuesday.
