Amory – Torri Thomas Parham, 48, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at her residence. Born on August 18, 1966, in Jasper, Alabama, she was the daughter of Patsy Ann Jones Thomas and the late Charles W. Thomas, Jr.
Torri graduated with the class of 1985 from Walker County High School, Alabama. She attended ICC and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from MUW. She married her soul mate, Barry Parham, on December 2, 2004. Torri attended Grace Fellowship Church. Her kind spirit and extremely big heart will be missed by all that knew her. Her family and friends will tell you she was a precious gift from God and that she loved like no other. She worked at Lane Furniture and with her husband, Barry. When she set her mind to do something, she always gave it 110%. She was a mother to all children she came in contact with, and she often helped friends and others who were in need. Torri was a loving daughter, wife, and mother, who would do anything for her family. Her favorite place to go on vacation was the beach and her favorite food was Gigi’s Cupcakes. She enjoyed collecting frog figurines. She had fond memories of airplanes as her father was a commercial pilot. Torri was spoiled by her father and she enjoyed giving and receiving “happies.” Torri was a big Alabama fan but was converted to an avid MSU fan. In her free time, you could find her attending her son’s baseball games, shopping, crafts, painting on canvas, rock collecting, and listening to 70’s and 80’s rock-n-roll music.
