– Tommy “Tombo” Lee Wouldridge, 59, died on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at North MS Medical Center, Tupelo. Born on November 30, 1951, he was a son of the late Bertha Mae Stacy and William Thomas Wouldridge, Sr.Tommy attended Belmont and Hatley schools. He married Bernice Easter on November 22, 1969. Driving a truck since age 18, he had worked for Parham Trucking, Ed Northington and G. W. Trucking. Tommy was of the Baptist faith. He was a Mason and a former member of the Army National Guard. A loving father, Tommy cherished time spent with his family, son, and grandson. Outgoing and friendly, he looked forward to spending time with friends. Tommy enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching sports on television, and listening to Country music, especially while driving his truck.He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Bernice Wouldridge, Smithville; son, Gary (Kellie) Wouldridge, Amory; grandchildren, Alicia and Garrett Wouldridge, Brentt Lochridge and Jordan Tyra; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Tommy Johnson, Fulton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Faye Wouldridge; grandson, Dallas Wouldridge; sister, Dorothy Mattox; and brother, William “Junior” Wouldridge.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 PM, Thursday, April 28 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory with Pastor Brad Haumesser officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Tubbs, Tommy Merchant, Chris Easter, Rick Adams, and Kevin and Greg Ball. Honorary pallbearers will be all the drivers with G. W.
