Amory- Thomas “Tommy” Lynn Harlow, 50, died Sunday, March 2, 2014 in Hamilton. Born October 28, 1963 in Amory, he was a son of Sheilah Smith Randall and John Harlow.
Tommy attended Hatley School, East Amory Baptist Church and Cason Baptist Church in his younger years. A man of many talents, he previously had worked as a river barge deck hand, a certified welder, framer and truck driver. Tommy enjoyed being with his family and friends cooking out and playing pool. He also enjoyed playing guitar and taking pictures. A fun, generous and loving person to be around, he will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors in include his mother, Sheilah Smith Randall, Amory; father, John Harlow (Donna), Amory; daughter, Brittani Kyzer (Dereck), Macon, MS; son, Scott Thomas Harlow, Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Elaine Harris (David), Amory and Vicky Champagne, Hamilton, MS; brothers, Ricky Harlow, Houston, TX and Chris Harlow (Ally), Amory; grandchildren, Brady Kyzer and Rylee Hill; special friends, Diane Glover and Addie Houk; a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Purley and Horace Smith, Dorthy Burgess; aunt, Donna Smith; stepfather, Chuck Smith.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm, Friday, March 7, 2014 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Moffett officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Odom, Joseph Williamson, and other friends.
Visitation will be Thursday evening at the funeral home from 5-8pm.
