– Tina Hathcock Coker, 48, died on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at NMMC. Born November 24, 1963, in Amory, she was the daughter of Sible Murphy Hathcock and the late Edison ‘Pork-Chop’ Hathcock. Mrs. Coker was a graduate of Smithville High School. Being a proud mother of two children, she enjoyed raising them, being a wife to her husband and a proud of grandmother. She was a cook at the BP Station in Amory. Tina was passionate about the Humane Society. Tina was a Primitive Baptist. She enjoyed riding horses when she was able, playing with her grandchildren, fishing, camping, shooting guns and her mustang. She is survived by her husband Greg Coker of Smithville; her daughter, Courtney Coker Harper (Chris) of Smithville; her son, Alan Coker (Liz) of Amory; her parents, Sible and Dwight Hathcock of Amory; brother, Phillip ‘Chop’ Hathcock of Smithville; grandchildren, Summer Jernigan, Logan Coker, Hayden Harper, Connor Coker and soon-to-arrive Bella Grace Coker; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Kay Dobbs, Tammy Dyer, Teresa McCormick. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Billy Coker, Jr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, February 16 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Elder Bobby Howell officiating with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Hathcock, Andy Hathcock, Richard Box, Nick Hathcock, A.J. Murphy, Terry Allred, Keith Hathcock, Chris Hathcock.Visitation will be from 5 – 8 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home.
