Timmy "Timbo" Brewer

Amory- Timmy “Timbo” Brewer, 48, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 in Columbus. Born April 30, 1965 in Aberdeen, he was a son of Nancy Sims Brewer and the late Willis Earl Brewer.

A lifelong resident of Monroe County, Timmy attended Hamilton School and was of the Baptist faith. A great mechanic, he loved working on cars, and was a diehard drag racer, winning many trophies through the years. His family came first in his life, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed racing, camping with his family, and listening to Country music.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Brewer, Amory; fiancé, Toni Pearson; sons, Richie Brewer (Ashley), Belmont, and Rodney Brewer, Amory; brothers, Terry Brewer, Amory and Phillip Brewer; grandchildren, Leland Brewer, Emily Jo Pearson, josh Pearson and Anna Grace Pearson; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca White Brewer.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday, July 7, 2013 at E.E. Pickle Funeral with Bro. Chuck Moffett officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt White, Larry Reeves, Donald Gene and Michael O’Neal Holloway, David Thompson, and Wayne Roebuck. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Bowen, Cody Cook, and Tim Nolen.
