Smithville— Thomas Jerry Kimbrough, 64, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Born in Amory on March 19, 1955, he was one of three sons of Dorothy Easter Phipps and the late James Roy Kimbrough.
Jerry attended Becker Schools. He worked as a factory worker at the Amory Garment Plant. Jerry mostly kept to himself, but he loved being outside.
In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, or any activity that kept him outdoors. He also liked to watch old Westerns and cooking shows. Jerry was of the Baptist Faith. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Stacy Hamlett (Larry), of Texas, Glenda Kimbrough, Hamilton, Alabama; son, Thomas Jerry Kimbrough Jr., Smithville; brothers, James Kimbrough (Delores), Greenwood Springs, Donald Ray Kimbrough (Sherry), Smithville; a sister: Debra Fyre (Max),four grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Kimbrough.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11AM, at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory. Burial will follow the service in Hatley Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Kevin Kimbrough, Greg Kimbrough, Dalton Kimbrough, Daniel Kimbrough, Andy Kimbrough, Braden Kimbrough, and Jake Kimbrough.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7, from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
