Thomas Roy Brown

Philadelphia- Thomas Roy Brown, 41, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at his residence in Philadelphia. Born November 10, 1972 in Amory, he was a son of Roy Douglas and Dorothy Faye Pace Brown. He attended Becker and Hatley Schools, was of the Baptist faith and was employed as an auto body mechanic at Jones Body Shop in Philadelphia. A hard worker, he was dedicated to his children and family, enjoyed being outdoors fishing, sitting beside the pool on summer days and coming back to Monroe County to visit.

He is survived by his fiancée, Jessica Jones, Philadelphia; sons, Kevin Matthew Brown, Amory and T. Austin Brown, Aberdeen; granddaughter, Madison Brown; nephew, Nathan Brown and a host of friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers; Travis, Roger and Donnie Brown.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4pm, Saturday, December 28, 2013 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Fowlkes officiating. Burial will follow in Howell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be T. Austin Brown, Barry Spears, Bobby May, Jamie Wilson, John Curtis Gray, Michael Soden and Dustin Pickle.

Visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral home from 5-8pm.
