Flora – Thelma Carnathan Foster, 60, died on Friday, July 15, 2011, at her residence. Born on July 17, 1950, in Beaverton, AL, she was a daughter of the late Johnnie and Neva Mangum Carnathan.
Thelma was a graduate of Hatley High School, Class of 1970. She worked as a seamstress with Amory Garment and was of the Baptist faith. A loving and caring lady, Thelma enjoyed spending time with her family, watching sports, especially Alabama football, and listening to Country music.
She is survived by daughters, Dottie Kelty (Ralph) and Kimberly Foster and fiancé, Kevin, all of Southaven and Tiffany Foster and her fiancé, Billy, Flora; sons, Johnny Wouldridge (April), Amory and Thomas Wouldridge (Sandy), Flora; twin sister, Velma Williams (Carl), Smithville; brother, Edwin Carnathan (Lynne), Amory; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Junior Wouldridge and Randy Foster; sister, Joan Mills and a brother, Jerry Dale Carnathan.
A private family gathering was held at the funeral home.
