Terry graduated from High School in Cookeville, TN, obtained a Bachelors of Science in Education at MUW, and later received her Master’s Degree in Science and Education at Mississippi State University. Having taught for 17 years, Terry was an excellent role model, and her peers twice nominated her as the Educator of the Year. She also taught online education for MVPS for 7 years. Terry had a giving spirit and she coached her daughter in Volleyball and Soccer. When her son played baseball, she kept the stats for the team. Terry was a member of the Lowndes County Library Association and the MAE. Dedicating her life to family and work, she leaves a legacy as she touched many lives as an educator and friend. Full-of-life, loving, family-oriented, kind, and a great problem-solver, Terry enjoyed listening to her husband sing.
