Terry N. Minich

Amory– Terry N. Minich, 56, died on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at North MS Medical Center, Tupelo. Born on January 10, 1958, he was a son of the Mary Jo Nash Minich and the late R. C. Minich, Jr.

Terry was a graduate of Amory High School, Class of 1976, and of IJC, Class of 1978. An avid outdoorsman, he loved his job as a forestry consultant and was a member of the National Forestry Association. Terry was of the Primitive Baptist faith. A private person who was witty and had a big heart, he was passionate about MSU football, donating toys to help children at Christmas, and was a dog lover. Terry enjoyed flowers and music, especially Country and ‘70s Rock.

He is survived by his mother, Mary J. Minich, Amory; brothers, Tommy Minich (Kim), Amory and Criss Minich (Amie), Olive Branch; nieces and nephews, Zack Minich, Gabby Minich, Hayden Minich, Ryan Minich, and Claire Minich; and God-son, Zack Parchman.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Balvin and Bessie Nash and Russell C. and Alma Minich.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, March 15 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home with Elder Tim Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Hayden, Brad, and Casey Minich; Randy Nash; Emile Petro; David Hill; Mike Brasfield; and John McCommon. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane, Ryan, and Zack Minich.

Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 1:50 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.
