Sue Gilliam Pickle
Saltillo – Sue Gilliam Pickle, 60, died on Friday, September 5, 2014, at North MS Medical Center. Born in new Albany, on August 3, 1954, she was a daughter of Billy Joe Gilliam and Beulah Mae Smithy Bagwell. She married Gary Pickle of Saltillo on May 5, 1990.
Growing up in New Albany, she attended W.P. Daniel High School. She was Baptist and worked as a homemaker all her life. She loved spending time with her her husband, her family, especially her grandchildren and her friends. She enjoyed taking short road trips, listening to all sorts of music and photography. Her family was the most important thing to her.
She is survived by her husband Gary Pickle (Saltillo); son, Billy Taylor Jr., of Nettleton; daughter, Christie Beasley (Ben), of Evergreen Community; grandchildren, Christopher and Rebecca Palmer; and a host of several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Gable and her brother, Jerry Lee Gilliam.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, September 8, 2014 at EE Pickle Funeral Home, Amory with Brother Danny Burks officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
