Stephen Dale Allen
Nettleton – Stephen Dale Allen, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Gilmore Memorial RMC, Amory. Born on December 9, 1955, in Lyons, NY, he was a son of the late Edward and Martha Oak Allen.
Stephen honorably served in the US Navy. He married Janet Lee Frazier on May 11, 1996. He worked in the steel manufacturing industry. Always staying busy, Stephen was of the Baptist faith and was passionate about his family. One who loved being outdoors, he enjoyed working in the yard, barbequing, and Country music.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Lee Allen, Nettleton; daughters, Sandra Reeves (Jacob), Nettleton, Angela Allen and Mary Ann Smith of New York; sons, Shane Allen (Martha), Dale Allen, and James Allen of New York; John Kennedy, Nettleton; and George Kennedy, Lakeland, FL; 8 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Barb Diagle and Cindy Allen.
A Gathering of family and friends will be from 2 – 4 PM, Sunday, May 31, 2015, at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
