Shirley Flocene Greenhill

Memphis, TN – Shirley Flocene Greenhill, 82, passed away from complications of a stroke on Friday, May 27, 2016, at Baptist East Hospital. Born on February 27, 1934, in Memphis, she was a daughter of the late Odeith Price Greenhill and Annie Mae Carson Greenhill.

Shirley was a high school graduate and worked as a Drafter with Carrier Home Comfort before retiring. A Christian lady, she was of the Baptist faith. An eccentric lady, she loved her cats. Shirley enjoyed watching game shows and collecting famous people’s autographs in her younger years. Her hobbies were painting, traveling, singing, and playing the piano. Shirley’s favorite music was Opera.

Survivors include her cousins, Hurbert Calvin Carson, Destin, FL, and William Courtney Carson, III, Los Angeles, CA.

Her Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 4, 2016, in Masonic Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:20 AM, Saturday.
