Sherry Lee Anderson “Mrs. B.” Butler, 58, reunited with her husband, Harold E. Butler, of 34 years on Friday, May 29, 2015, at 3:51 PM at her residence. Born on October 2, 1956, in Sheridan, MI, she was a daughter of the late Odas Odell and Helen Louise Cotton-Anderson.
Sherry was a graduate of Tri-County High School, Class of 1974 in Howard City, MI. On October 18, 1980, she married her best friend and soulmate, Harold E. Butler. Disabled since 2007, she was the manager of Northside Amoco in Aberdeen. Caring and loving, she was of the Baptist faith. Leaving a lasting impression on people with her larger than life personality and great sense of humor, Sherry loved her precious family, especially spoiling her grandchildren. Her life’s philosophy was to “Live like every day is your last day.” Sherry enjoyed traveling, going to the casinos, vacations to the beach and the mountains, camping, fishing, being with her grandchildren, and music by Don Williams as well as Country, Oldies, Blues, and Cajun music. Loved by everyone, she was passionate about Relay for Life, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and St. Jude.
She is survived by her daughters, Mandy Ebert Holloway (fiancé, Heath Mills) and Angie Hanna of Hamilton; son, Cory Ebert and step-son, Tony Simmons, of Hamilton; sister, Linda Hebert, Ada, OK; brother, Stan Anderson, Palm Springs, CA; grandchildren, Tyler Ebert Self, Wesley Simmons, Gracey Holloway, Michael Hanna, Alex Brown, Jessie Kinneson, Will Hanna, Jodie Kinneson, Toney Leigh Simmons, Callie Hanna; and Caden, Donovan, and Laken Mills; a host of nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law; her sisters-in-law; special friends, Ethel Red, Jackie Griffin, Belinda Gladney, Ken Holmes, Phil Leech, and Rebecca Luker and her crew at Northside Amoco; and dogs, Rascal and J. J..
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Odell and Steven Odas Anderson.
A private family service was held on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the family’s residence.
