Shelby Rinehart
Smithville, Miss.—Shelby Jean Stanford Rinehart, 75, died on Monday, January 27, 2014 at her home. Born January 9, 1939 in Amory, she was a daughter of George G. and Nomie L. Suggs Stanford. She married Ellis Rinehart and she was a homemaker and worked in the garment industry. She enjoyed flowers, shopping, traveling, fishing, camping, and swimming. She was Baptist.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Elder Wendell Rinehart officiating. Burial will be in the James Creek (Cherry Tree) Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Ellis Rinehart of Smithville; one daughter, Sarah L. Rinehart of Panama City Beach, FL; 3 sons, Ellis Wendell Rinehart (Sandy) of Columbus, Mark A. Rinehart of Amory, and Roy Dewayne Rinehart (Trish) of Hatley; Nell Rinehart (Allen) of Canton, TX and Brenda Adams of Amory; one brother, Jerry Stanford (Brenda) of Waco, TX; 5 grandchildren, Toby L. Rinehart (LeaAnna), Lacey Rinehart, Roy Rinehart (Dolly), Janet Rinehart, and Rusty Guyton; 3 great grandchildren, Makenzie Rinehart, McKayla Rinehart, and Connor Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Swartz, Jimmy Chavis, Jimmy Best, Terry Hall, Eric Jones, and Joe West. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Rinehart, Toby Rinehart, and Kevin McIntosh.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday evening and will continue until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
