Columbus- Shelia Ann Gray Glover, 55, died Sunday, February 24, 2013 at her residence in Lowndes County. She was born September 13, 1957, in Columbus to Emma Dean Stapp Gray and the late Alfred Rush Gray.
Sheila grew up and attended school in Columbus and was of the Pentecostal faith. While living in West Memphis, she was a District Manager of 6 Sonic Drive- Ins, often flying on business trips, which she enjoyed. Full of life, Sheila loved being around people, especially her family, whom she loved dearly. A great sense of humor, she loved making people smile, joking with others, and never met a stranger.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Rob Glover; daughter, Shell Glover (Columbus); sons, Joshua Honnoll (Cindy), Texas, and Rob Glover, Jr. (Columbus); mother, Emma Dean Stapp Gray (Columbus); brothers, Alton Gray (Helen), Columbus, Bobby Gray (Tonya), Cedar Bluff, and Paul Barksdale (Lena), AL; 3 grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a sister, Christie Lynn Barksdale.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shane Gray, Stacey Ray, Chris Binion, Lamar Lee, William Paul Bird, and Bobby Gray II. Honorary pallbearers will be Derek Anthony Gray, Sr., Paul Barksdale, and Derek (Bam-Bam) Gray, Jr.
Visitation will be prior to the service on Wednesday from 9 AM until service time.
