Shawn Dwayne Pinion

Amory – Shawn Dwayne Pinion, 49, died on Friday, July 18, 2014, at his residence surrounded by his family. Born on March 23, 1965, in Houston, TX, he was a son of the late Cecil and Susan Angle Hargroue and John and Katherine Pinion, Texas.

A graduate of George Washington University, Shawn was self-employed in the insurance and investments profession. He honorably served in the US Navy. Shawn was Baptist. Living life to the fullest with a great personality and sense of humor, his life revolved around his son. He enjoyed playing guitar, being outdoors, and Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music.

Survivors include his grandparents, Lila Angle and Martha Angle, Texas; son, Casey Pinion, Costa Rica; sisters, Felicia Hargroue (Kelvin), Silsbee, TX, Amee Williams, Texas, Dahnya Smith (Brian), Austin, TX; brothers, Bryant Hargroue (Brandi), Amory and John Pinion, IV (Michelle), Texas; nieces and nephews, Kylie, Amber, Halei, Dustin, and Tylan, Amory; Landon Willis, John Pinion, V, Austin, Alexa, and Hudson, Texas; special friend, Vince Ramacca.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bob Angle.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6 PM, Tuesday, July 22 at Sunrise Fellowship Church, 910 Tschudi Rd., Amory with Bro. Jackie Pate and Pastor Stanley Blaylock officiating.
