Sandra Kay Jones

Aberdeen - Sandra Kay Jones, 68, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center. Born on July 21, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Fillio and Esther Mitchell Macormic.

Sandra was a kind soul who enjoyed her life. She liked spending with friends and having a good cup of coffee. In her free time, she liked to go fishing with her family and camping. She also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers. Sandra relished in the beauty and history of Native American art and artifacts. She was a fantastic cook and decorator. Sandra lived a full life, and she will be remembered by her loved ones for the years to come.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Gerald Dewayne Jones; sons, Bobby Adams (Karen), Athens-Quincy; and Rodney Adams, Athens-Quincy; brothers, Perry and Johnny Macormic; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Scott Adams; daughter, Misty Lynn Edwards; sister, Sue Jockson; and granddaughter, Angelica Adams.

Visitation for Sandra will be on Wednesday, January 10, 2017, from 4:00-6:00PM.
