Sandra Fay Foster Phillips

Amory – Sandra Fay Foster Phillips, 67, became totally healed and had a sweet reunion with many members of her family on Saturday, February 10, 2024. She was born on October 14, 1956 in Amory, Mississippi, to the late Offie Wade Foster and John Foster.

Sandra grew up in Monroe County and attended Amory Schools until 11th grade and then transferred to Hatley High School. Upon graduation, she went to work in the area factories and she was unafraid of hard work. She met her husband, William Edward Phillips at a young age. Sandra and William were married on April 11, 1975 and together they were blessed with four children. The most important job Sandra had was that of a homemaker and with four children she was blessed with so many great memories of times past. She was a good mom, wife, sister, and grandma to her cherished six grandchildren.

She believed in the Lord and He carried her through some hard times in life. She attended Bethel Apostolic Church and enjoyed worshipping God with this church family. She was close to her sisters and her children and enjoyed spending precious time with her grandchildren. Her favorite music was country music. Her family knows that she is now in the presence of The Lord and that she is at peace seeing clearly His magnificent love.

Sandra will be missed and her family thanks you for the prayers at this time. She will live on in their hearts.

Left behind to treasure the memories are her daughters, Sandy Michelle Burlison (David), Amory, Carrie Phillips (Marcus); son, Bobby Joe Phillips, Meridian; grandchildren, John Bradley Burlison, John Nathan Snider, Allie Burlison, Rob Byars, Myles Wouldridge, and Mylee Phillips; sisters, Diane Hunt (Steve) and Jonnie Foster (Merrill); a host of nieces and nephews including Stone Garner (Ace) and Keith Garner (Brandy).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Phillips and her son, Johnathan E. Phillips.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 2:00 pm at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, MS with Bro. Stanley Blaylock officiating.
