Sandra Ford East

Columbus - Sandra Alice Ford East, 67, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Born on May 14, 1948, in Amory, she was a daughter of Mary Alice Noe Ford and the late Guy Ford.

She is survived by her husband, best friend, soulmate and help-mate of 42 years, Ronnie H. East, Caledonia; mother, Mary Alice Ford, Greenwood Springs; daughters, Toni East Knight (Shane), Amory, and Meredith East, Caledonia; son, Jason East (Jennifer), Columbus; sister, Wanda Hollis (Jimmy), Sulligent, AL; brothers, Kenny Ford (Johnnie) and Dale Ford (Linda) of Greenwood Springs; grandchildren, Jerren Woods (Haley), Cody Woods (Lauren), Kayla East, Justin Fore, and Brayden East; great-grandchild, Conner Woods; and special friends, Terrie Lynn Brown and Lois Owens.

She was preceded in death by her father, Guy Ford.

Her Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at New Center Point Free Will Baptist Church in Greenwood Springs with Bro. Kenny Gardner and Bro. Bradley Long officiating. Burial will follow in Pickle Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Casey Hollis; Daniel, Stephen, and Guy Ford; Dale Stafford; Coleman Roberts; and Nathan Terry. Honorary pallbearers will be John Burton and Matthew Edgil.

Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM, Monday at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory. Mrs. East will lie-in-state at the church from Noon until the service hour.
