Sandra Chism

Gattman – Sandra Lee Chism, 52, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Born on August 18, 1959, in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Jimmie Elouise Owens Northington.
Ms. Chism attended Caledonia High School. She was a member of Gattman Baptist Church. Ms. Chism loved to support her church in any way she could. Following God in all things, her three sons were the most important part of her life. Fun-loving and very laid back, she was an avid New Orleans Saints football fan.
She is survived by three sons, Tommy Jason (Stephanie) Hicks, D.J. Richardson, and Chandler Chism; grandchildren, Dilan and Jason Hicks; sister, Sherlon (Danny) Scott; and brother, Robin Dale (Sharon) Bennett.
A Celebration of Life Service was held at Noon, Monday, September 19 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Pate and Bro. Bobbie Price officiating. Burial was in Blaylock Cemetery. Pallbearers were Shawn Funderburk, Corey Todd, Zakeri Jenkins, and family friends.
A visitation was held from 10 AM until the service hour on Monday.
