Sandra C. Bobo
Amory – Sandra C. Jones Bobo, 67, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Born on August 21, 1953, in Aberdeen, MS, she was a daughter of the late Sam and Evelyn Pickle Jones.
Sandra grew up in Wisconsin and obtained her G.E.D. from Gateway Community College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She was a hard worker and worked as a waitress in restaurants for many years, she then stocked for Walmart and eventually was a manager at Kmart. She was blessed by God with a loving husband, J. F. Bobo, and seven children. Sandra was a great mother, wife and grandmother.
A Christian, she was of the Baptist faith and she loved her children and grandchildren. In her free time, she liked to play pranks on people and she could persuade anyone to do something for her. She liked old country music, the 60’, 70’s and 80’s music, especially the Eagles and Elvis Presley. Often times, she would hang out with her close friend Andy, they would smoke, drink coffee and just solve all the world’s problems. Sandra like to collect antiques and search for Indian artifacts. Above all, she liked to spend precious time with her family.
Sandra will be missed dearly. The wonderful memories she gave will live on forever in hearts and minds of her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Gray (Glenn), Waupon, WI, Jennifer Tcheurekgian, Baldwyn, MS; sons, David Billings (Nancy), West Monroe, LA, E. J. Billings, North Carolina, Kenneth Temen (Tammy), Waupon, WI, Stevie Sierowski (Yasha), Locust Grove, GA, James Brigham (Jennifer), Nettleton; 20 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Sherry Jones; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by her husband, J.F. Bobo; 3 sisters, and 3 brothers.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020, at 2:00pm at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory, MS with Bro. Allen officiating. Pallbearers will be her family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, September 21, 2020 from 12:30pm until 2:00pm.
