Ruby Wilf Mitchell

Ruby Wilf Mitchell of Amory, MS, formerly of Jackson, TN, joined her Heavenly Father on June 12, 2020. She was born in Dyess Colony, AR on Jan. 29, 1927, the daughter of Ephream Chester Burch and Eddie Lee Avenue Burch Burch. She loved people and enjoyed homemaking, singing, music, and was enthusiastic about fashion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Horace Lee Wilf, a WWII Marine Corps Veteran; husband B.R. Mitchell, a Korean War Veteran; son-in-law Jim Scott; brother Loren Burch, a U.S. Army Veteran D-Day survivor; and brother Harold Burch.

She is survived by her son, Michael Wilf (Susan) of Amory, MS; daughter, Judy Scott of Blue Springs, MO; son Tony Wilf (Cindy) of Radford, VA; seven grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren.
