Born on December 27, 1915, in Monroe County, she was a daughter of the late James Franklin and Lonie Brown Middleton.Before retiring, Mrs. Foote worked as a seamstress in the local garment plants. Looking to Jesus Christ for direction and wisdom, she was a member of East Amory Baptist Church. A kind and gentle woman, her family was most important to her and she cherished the times spent with them. Mrs. Foote enjoyed listening to Gospel music.She is survived by her son, Harrell Foote and his wife, Sarah, Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Sonya Kindall, Sharon Wall, David Grammer, Scott Foote, and Rhonda Thomas; 8 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Foote; son, Billy Foote; daughter, Bobbie Foote Grammer Wall; grandson, David Grammer; sister, Ruth Smith; and brothers, Jelks, Hollis, Alton, Raymond, Ray, Paul, and L. B. Middleton.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, September 4 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery.
