Ronda Oliver Panel
Amory – Ronda Lynn Oliver Panel, 57, met her Savior face to face on Sunday, September 17, 2023. She was born on October 4, 1965, in Shields TWP, Lake County, Illinois.
Ronda moved to Mississippi with her family and graduated from Amory High School with the Class of 1984. She then furthered her education at IJC in Fulton, MS and she graduated from Travel School and was the valedictorian of her class. She worked the majority of her career at Sterman Ford in Memphis and lastly she worked at CarQuest Auto Parts in Memphis where she was parts delivery person.
She was blessed by God with a supportive and loving mother, as well as a son and grandchildren. She was a strong woman who was very sweet with a heart of gold. Ronda believed in God, was very personable and was of the Baptist faith. Anything outdoors made her smile and she enjoyed spending her downtime there doing things like boating, cutting the grass, yard work, going to the beach and attending races. She also enjoyed practicing Karaoke.
Some of her close friends were Vikie Price, Kim Anderson, and Richard Williams. Ronda liked classic 80’s rock music and she enjoyed just spending time with the ones she loved. Of all the accomplishments in her life, her son and the man he had become made her most proud.
She will be missed so much yet the legacy of her love will live on with her family and friends. There is no doubt she is celebrating with the Angels at the birth of her new grandchild.
Left behind to treasure the memories are her son, Jordan Panel (Heather) Mantachie, MS; mother, Gwen Cook, Amory; grandchildren, Harper and Olivia Panel, Mantachie; father, Mike Cook, Moscow, TN; aunt, Johnnie Bennett, Smithville; and a host of cousins; .
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Carl Burks officiating.
Donations may be made to your local animal shelter in memory of Ronda.
