Athens - Robert E. “RoRo” Head, 24, died on Monday, July 2, 2012 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. Born February 2, 1988, he was a son of Bobby Joe and Elizabeth Louise “Ebo” Foster Head. A member of the Bethel Apostolic Church, he was kindhearted, compassionate and was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed working with his farm animals, driving the family’s wrecker, and hunting and fishing with his friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Stanley Blaylock and Bro. Steve Saywer officiating. Burial will be in the Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Nick Ballard, Adam Long, Blake Wilson, Dewayne Foster, Bobby Lee Foster, Josh Head, Clarence Smith, Timothy Parrish, and Michael Foster. Honorary pallbearers will be Lamar Hood, Billy Hood, and John Head
Survivors include his parents of Athens; 3 brothers, Bobby Ervin (Amanda) of Hatley; Tony Keith of Amory, and Michael Craig of Amory; nieces and nephews, Josh, John, Austin, Destiny, and Alex Head; and Taylor Lewis; special friends, Nick and Jessica Ballard and a host of other friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and Hal Foster and Earnest and Effie Head; and by his grandparents, Lillie and Jessie Foster.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
