Robert E. Candle, 88, of Cordova, TN formerly of Amory, MS passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday September 1, 2014.

Robert was born in Columbus, MS on February 6th, 1926. He worked for the Frisco/Burlington Northern Railroad and retired in 1988 after 43 years of service. He was a 32 degree Mason and a Shriner. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Amory.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Christine Candle. He has two children, Neil Candle (Jessie) of St. Cloud, FL, and Christy Salvo (Al ) of Cordova, TN. He has 4 grandchildren, Carla Stewart (Stan) and Kelly Denzio (Scott) of Winter Park, FL, Chris Chapman (Alex) of Nashville, TN and Allison Henley (Billy) of Germantown, TN. He has 5 great grandchildren, London, Ketcher, Fallon, Kencacde and Everleigh.

Services will be held in Amory, MS. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home of Amory, MS with graveside service at Masonic Cemetery on Thursday September 4th at 2:00 PM.
