Richard Dale Graham

Okolona – Richard Dale Graham, 61, died on November 11, 2013, at his residence under the care of Legacy Hospice. Born on October 25, 1952, in Waukegan, IL, he was a son of Evelyn Creekmore Ermis and the late Charles W. Graham.

Richard was a graduate of Zion-Benton, IL, High School. Before becoming disabled, he had worked as a machinist and tool and die maker with MTD Manufacturing, Verona and Paslode, Pontotoc. Richard was a child of God. Living his life to the fullest, he enjoyed fishing, painting, playing the guitar, Country music, and watching wrestling on television with his mom.

Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Ermis, Okolona; daughter, Shannon Burks, Amory; sons, Jason Burks, Memphis and Shawn Graham, Waukesha, WI; grandson, Reese Burks, Amory; sisters, Carolyn Parish (Jerry), Apache Junction, AZ, and Lynda Bergman, Tupelo; brother, Charles H. Graham (Debbie), Orlando; and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM, Friday, November 15 in Hatley Cemetery with Bro. Thomas Neal officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:50 PM.
