Amory—Richard H. “Dicky” Lyle, 78, passed away at his residence on Monday, February 20, 2017. Born on June 14, 1938, he was a son of the late James Gorman and Gladys Faust Lyle.

The children at St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital held a special place in his heart.

Dicky enjoyed collecting Case knives and was an avid fan of Roy Rogers. He loved to listen to country and gospel music, especially Sonny James. He will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Billy, Milton and David; 4 sisters, Mildred Taylor, Myra Kennedy, Muriel Tartt, and Martha Lyle.
