– Olga Reed “Reedy” Buchanan Sanders, 89, died on Sunday, January 22, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Born on March 8, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Clyde and Adee Smith Buchanan.Mrs. Sanders attended Aberdeen Schools. In 1984, she retired as a seamstress with Amory Garment after 34+ years of service. She was a member of Greenbrier United Methodist Church. A loving and caring mother, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies were flower gardening, cross stitching, quilting, playing card games with family, traveling, visiting on the phone with friends, word search books, and watching the Atlanta Braves. She enjoyed Gospel music, especially The Gaithers, and watching Gospel Channel 15.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, January 25 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Sheffield and Rev. Aubrey Boren officiating. Burial with will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Art Buchanan, Charlie Oldham, Brad Tate, Robert Buchanan, Eric Sanders, and Clayton Thompson.Visitation will be from 5 – 7 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.She is survived by her sons, Harold Sanders (Betty Ruth), Amory and Dail Sanders (Linda), Columbus; grandchildren, Eddie, Chris, and Brian Sanders; Deborah Mullins; Mitzi Smith; Lynn Nordquist; and Angela Johnson; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Betty Webster, Lois Varnell, Wynona Dowdle, and Sybil Wilson.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C. W.
