Born on August 14, 1942, in Thrasher, she was a daughter of the late Whit Andrew and Lillian Oswalt Wilbanks.Mrs. Sanders attended Wheeler High School. She retired as a supervisor from Red Kap. A God-loving lady, she was a member of Bigbee Baptist Church. Very caring and loving, Mrs. Sanders cherished time spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to Gospel music and sewing. A devoted mother, her family was of most importance. She is survived by her sons, Willis G. (Susan Kay) Sanders, Jr., Amory, Thomas Andrew (Lauren) Sanders, Southaven, Quitman Jason (Gayla) Sanders, Ridgeland, and Jeffrey Lynn Sanders, Amory; grandchildren, Paige (Drew) Gough, Morgan Sanders, Bailey Sanders, Caelin Sanders, Zack Golding and Whitney Loving; great-grandchildren, Farrah Gough, Addison Loving and Jackson Loving; Aunt Mary Ann Tyra, Amory; several nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Shelby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis G. Sanders and siblings.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory with Bro. Tommy Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Drew Gough, Dale Wilbanks, Wayne Wilbanks, Larry Adams, Wayne Wilbanks and William Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Taylor and Zack Golding.Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.Memorials may be given to Bigbee Baptist Church Building Fund, 808 Walnut, Amory, MS 38821.Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at eepicklefuneralhome.com.
