Amory – Patsy Jane Hall Cunningham, 51, died on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at Community Hospice at Darlington Oaks. Born on March 10, 1960, in Monroe County, she was a daughter of Cleve Hall and the late Ida Lee Duke Murff.
Patsy attended Greenwood Springs and Smithville schools. On October 19, 1982, she married Donald Cunningham. Before becoming a homemaker, Patsy had worked as a seamstress at Gattman Manufacturing and as a packer at Arvins. She was of the nondenominational faith. A wonderful wife and mother, Patsy enjoyed spending time with her family and grandson, singing, Mississippi State football games, watching television, and listening to Gospel and Country music.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Cunningham, Amory; daughter, Samantha C. Hyde (Sam), Amory; father, Cleve Hall (Dorothy), Nettleton; grandson, Alex Hyde; brother, Gene Hall (Janie), Booneville; step-sisters, Patricia Reeves (Bill), Nettleton, and Louise Cox (Dale), Fulton; step-brothers, J. T. Tubb (Cheryl), Coral Springs, FL, and Donald Tubb, Shannon; niece and nephew, Leigh Ann Holifield and Tommy Hall; and special friends, Irene Pace and Katie Bowman.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Patra Bridges, and Jasper and Alice Hall.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, October 13 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Yielding officiating. Burial will follow in Baker Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Howard, James, and Tommy Hall; Ronnie Colburn; Roy Graham; and Josh Cunningham.
Visitation will continue until the service hour on Thursday.
