Born on February 2, 1919, in Okolona, she was a daughter of the late Numie and Merdis Mannis Sullivan.Mrs. Jones attended Okolona Schools and married P. E. Jones on July 29, 1963. Before becoming a homemaker, she worked as a seamstress in the garment industry and worked as a sales lady in California and Florida. She was a faithful member of North Boulevard Christian Church, was a member of the Women’s Bible class and the Prayer Partners group. A determined, giving, loving, and kind-hearted lady, Mrs. Jones was a generous servant as she was always sewing and baking for others. She enjoyed Gospel music, hymns, baking, sewing, cross-stitching, reading her Bible, find-a-word puzzles, cooking holiday meals for her family, and making quilts for her family.She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Rochester (Jim), Nita Robinson (Norris), Amory, and Martha Owens (Lamar), Jacksonville, FL; son, Danny Brewer (Bette), Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Beverly Goheen (Fred), Connie Smith (Pete), Chip Brewer, Chris Rochester, Donnie Brewer (Diana), Jeff Chambers (Jennifer), Brad Robinson (Martha), Haley Monaghan (Craig), Scott Wagner (Marci), Sandra Brewer (Butch), Chuck Wagner, and Donna Houston (Pat); great-grandchildren, Michelle and Matt Goheen; Brandon and Ryan Fowlkes; Zach Robinson; Sarah and Isabella Robinson; Mason and Madison Wagner; Blake, Chase, and Reagan Chambers; Anna McNeese; Peyton McLemore; and Danielle and Lindsay Brewer; great-great-grandchildren, Austin and Alyssa; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters, five brothers, and a grandson, Jay Chambers.A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, September 12 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Buzz Wilkerson and Bro. Furman Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Rhonnie Mixon, Steve and Chad Logan, and Bryan, Scott, and Jon Mark Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.Memorials may be given to North Blvd. Christian Church, P. O.
