Born on December 20, 1940, in Tupelo, he was a son of the late Orville and Dorothy Drake Harmon.Noel was a graduate of Amory High School, Class of 1958. He married Martha Jo Carroll on December 31, 1985. Before retiring in 2004, Noel was a photographer who owned and operated Photo Connection. A member of North Boulevard Christian Church, he served as a deacon and a soloist until becoming disabled. Kind-hearted, his life was centered around his faith and family, especially his children and grandchildren. Noel enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, landscaping, and Gospel music, in particular The Gaithers and the Crabb Family.He is survived by his wife and best friend, Martha Jo Carroll Harmon, Amory; daughter, Amy Pennington (Eddie), Amory; sons, Eddie Harlow (Karin), Saltillo and Toby Harlow (Diana) Fulton; brother, Neil Harmon, Colorado; grandchildren, Blake and Austin Pennington; Kelly, Chelsey, Caitlin, and Jerzy Harlow; Kristen Williams; and Will Harlow; and special friend, Frank Smith.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Harmon; grandson, Braiden Pennington; and special friend, Edgar Howell.A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM, Thursday, January 5 at North Boulevard Christian Church with Bro. Ferman Anderson, Bro. Eddie Harlow, and Bro. Billy Lansdell officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie and Toby Harlow, Eddie Pennington, and Frank Smith. Visitation will be from 1:30 – 2:45 PM, Thursday at the church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are given to North Boulevard Christian Church, c/o Bro.
