Nina Patricia Horne

Smithville – Nina Patricia Digbee Horne, 83, passed away at the Tupelo Nursing and Rehab center. She was the daughter of the late Avie Burdine Smith.

Patricia was a graduate of Fulton High School. After graduation, she began a career at Amory Garment which spanned a career of 42 years. She was also a dedicated caretaker of her mother for years.
A woman of few words, she was a very quiet person. She was a member of the Smithville Baptist Church where she participated in the women’s’ group at the church.

In her spare time, she liked to go to yard sales. She especially loved to collect pottery cats. Her family will always remember her fondly whenever they see a bag of cheetos, her favorite snack.
Patricia is survived by her cousins, Teresa Cody and Catherine Carpenter.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by three aunts: Opal Cody, Abie Smith and Dovie Carpenter; cousins: Kenneth Carpenter and Phyllis Cody.

Graveside services for Patricia Horn will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 4, 2022 at Young Memorial Garden with Bro. Drew Gardner officiating.

Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery for her services.
