Smithville – Nathanial W. “Nat” Pearson, 38, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015, from injuries sustained in an accident. Born on August 26, 1976, in Amory, he was a son of Van Wesley Pearson and Donna Kaye Burt Holley.
Nat attended Monroe County Schools. On June 29, 1996, he married the love-of-his-life, Jamie Beasley. A hard-worker who drove a truck prior to opening his own business, Nat and his wife were the owners/operators of N & J Trucking Company from 2001 – 2008. Caring and loving, Nat was of the Baptist faith. A family man who was always happy, Nat’s wife, two daughters, and extended family were most important to him. Together, they raised and showed American Bulldogs, having several Show Champions. A character who loved to joke and cut-up, he was a member of Gilmore Wellness Center, MuscleMaxx Gym, and Four Lakes Bass Club. Having numerous friends, they enjoyed fishing, working-out, and enjoying each others’ friendship. He enjoyed listening to Classic Rock and Rock-n-Roll music, especially Guns N’ Roses.
Survivors include his wife, best friend, and soulmate, Jamie Pearson, Smithville; daughters, Destiny Faith and Nicole Faith Pearson, Smithville; mother, Donna Holley (Johnny), Nettleton; father, Van Pearson, Seward, NE; grandparents, Lee Hollis and Frances Burt, Nettleton; Virginia Pearson, Amory; and grandmothers, Estelle Holley, Nettleton and Helen Holley, Amory; sisters, Samantha Wray, Hernando, and Heather Lavigne (James), Athens, AL; nieces, Brianna and Brylee Wray; Ally Lavigne and MacKenzie Holley.
Nat was preceded in death by his grandfather, Herschell Pearson; uncles, Stacey Wayne Burt and David Pearson; and cousin, Holly D. Pace-Hollaway.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM, Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory, with Bro. Danny Burks and Bro. Eddie Moffett officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 – 3:50 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
