Nancy Ann Brewer

Amory – Nancy Ann Brewer, 68, died on Friday, November 7, 2014, at her sister’s residence. Born on April 5, 1946, in Monroe County, she was a daughter of the late Itha Ryon and Eunice Audine Renfro Sims.

Nancy attended Becker School. She worked at True Temper and retired after 22 years of service. A wonderful lady who cared for everyone, she was Baptist. Nancy loved her puppies and enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, being outdoors visiting with people and Country music.

Survivors include her son, Terry Brewer, Hatley; sisters, Linda Holloway (Billy Joe), Hamilton and Janette Harrell (Russell), Tifton, GA; brother, Danny Sims (Lillian), Sumter, SC; grandchildren, Richie Brewer (Ashley), Belmont, Josh Brewer, Vina, AL, Jessica Brewer, Becker and Rodney Brewer (Jordyn), Red Bay, AL; great-grandchildren, Leland Brewer, Jenna Pickle, and Rylee and Addison Schrader; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis E. Brewer and son, Timothy Brewer.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, November 10 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Rooks officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richie and Josh Brewer, Mike Holloway, Tim Nolan, Fred Borman and Wade Minor.

Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
