Atlanta — Michael Gordon Miller, 46, passed away at his residence in Atlanta, GA. He was born in Aberdeen, MS on July 10, 1972, to the late Robert Gordon and Barbara Ann Miller.
Michael graduated from Hatley High School. He attended Itawamba Community College, Northeast Community College, and Mississippi State University. Michael was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Quincy, MS.
A true jetsetter, Michael obtained a job as a flight attendant and absolutely loved it. He reveled in traveling and experiencing new things in life. Michael was a man of great inner strength. He truly lived his life to the fullest and walked to the beat of his own drum. Michael could make anyone laugh and held many close friends dear to his heart. Michael never met a stranger and could argue with a wall. He had a special relationship with his mother and took great care of her before her passing in 2017. Michael was well loved and will be dearly missed. He will live on in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
Michael is survived by his aunts, Glenda Tucker, Amory, Tammy Yeargin, Belden, Janet Dennison, Denver, CO, Sandra Dickinson, Denver; uncles, Tony West, Belden, Ricky West, Becker; nephew, Cory Walls; a host of loving cousins; and very special friend, Lia Noland.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Walls; aunts, Jean Renfro, Vivian Roberts, Mildred Smith; and uncle, Larry West.
A memorial service for Mr. Miller will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel.
